If our Website doesn't answer all of your questions, here you can find the most frequently asked questions about our rental service.

It is unfortunately not possible to book half-day rentals online. We only offer entire days there. For special reservations like these, please contact the RENTertainers in the specific shop and organise this with them. You will find the contact data under the menu item “locations”.

If your shop doesn’t appear to offer storage during the online reservation process, it might mean that there is no storage or that all storage spaces are reserved at the time of rental. You can try contacting the shop directly and asking about this. You will find the contact data under menu item “locations”.

Login only works with the e-mail address you either used to check in at the shop or with which you registered on our site during your first online reservation. Please check to see if you have actually entered the correct e-mail address. If you still have a reservation confirmation from your last rental, then you can also see what e-mail address is given there.

If this solution doesn’t help either, please send an e-mail explaining your problem and stating your name and surname, as well as your date of birth at info@intersportrent.at. We will work on a solution as quickly as possible.

That’s not a problem. You can request a new password at any time. In the login area, simply enter you e-mail address in the “username” field and click on “I have forgotten my password”. We will immediately send you a new password per e-mail. You can use it to log in again and modify your password in the menu item “My account > Modify personal profile > Login data”.

This is because our RENTertainers need some time to carefully prepare your rental equipment. You can however save some time in the shop by making an online check-in first. You will then save the time going to the check-in terminal at the shop. Please directly go to the rental material delivery station with your printed-out check-in confirmation. The RENTertainers will certainly also be able to find suitable equipment for you at the shop.

It is different from shop to shop. You will find this information either in the corresponding price list – the online discounts can be found under the list – or when you start an online reservation. Possible discounts are displayed immediately.

Of course, many of our shops also let fun sports equipment. You will find them in the selection bar during the online rental process, between snowboard and storage.

You can pay using your credit card (Mastercard or Visa), Paypal or immediate transfer. Not all shops offer all 3 possibilities. Please follow the instructions after completing any online reservation.

Of course you can also wait and pay directly at the shop! But please note that by paying online, you usually save cash and time by not having to go to the checkout in the stop, allowing you to reach the slopes faster.

So that we can safely and carefully prepare your equipment and because we need your measurements to correctly adjust bindings. And to be able to send you your reservation confirmation we need your e-mail address. To make you reach the slopes faster. By registering, you also benefit from all advantages as an INTERSPORT Rent regular.

To make sure that there is enough equipment available for your class during the winter sports week, please inform us at least one month in advance (ideally, even before that). Here (link to school sports weeks) you will find 2 registration possibilities:

  • You can either fill in an online form for your pupils (we need everybody’s first names and surnames, the equipment they need, their age, size, weight, boot size and skiing level.)

  • Or you can simply print the registration form, fill it in and send it to info@intersportrent.at or per fax to 0043 7242/233 33029

Every shop offers special group tariffs. Please contact the shop you want to rent from and ask for a group tariff. You will find the contact data under menu item “locations”.

You can select the storage option during the online reservation process and reserve it along with your rental equipment. If a shop offers a storage possibility, you can find a corresponding symbol under “products”.

You can in principle change your reservation if it is done in time before your first rental day. However, our system cannot process the change automatically, you will need to let us know directly. Please contact the shop where you are renting your equipment by phone or e-mail message. The contact data can be found printed in the top right of your reservation confirmation. The RENTertainers on site will address your concerns as quickly as possible.

Yes, 100% of your money will be refunded – we do not have cancellation fees. However, please let us know at least 2 days before your first day of rental so that our RENTertainers don’t prepare your equipment for no reason.

The discount only applies when both parents are also renting and the child is 10 years old or younger. Please check the form of address of both adults in the online profiles. The online system only gives a free discount to the child if the mother is correctly referred to as “Ms” and the father as “Mr”.

In some shops, you can find an additional drop-down list under the rental classes (Economy, Premium) with “Reserve a specific model”. There you can select your favourite model. If the shop doesn’t offer this option, you can write your desired model in the optional field “Optional comments on the reservation” just before concluding your reservation. The RENTertainers will do their best to fulfil your wishes.

There could be various reasons why online payment isn’t working. In most cases, waiting a little while before trying again solves the problem. If it still isn’t working, try the following:

  • Update your browser
  • Open our website in another browser and log in again (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari...)
  • Try using a different computer or a different credit card, if possible.

If this doesn’t help either, please send an e-mail to info@intersportrent.at with a screenshot of the step at which the payment fails and briefly describe what happens. We will check if your payment was successful and will work on a solution as quickly as possible.

Yes, your equipment is in principle insured against breakage and theft. In the event that your skis break or are stolen you must pay a deductible. The Carefree Package frees you from paying this deductible.

You Carefree Package frees your from having to pay a deductible in case of breakage or theft! Your rental equipment is in principle insured against breakage and theft. In case of claim, so for example if your skis break or are stolen, you must pay a deductible (SUPERIOR € 350, PREMIUM € 250, ECONOMY € 150). You need only pay a one-off charge of € 7.50 (rental of max. 2 days) or € 15 (rental of 3 days or more) for the Carefree Package and then you won’t have to pay any deductible! A police report is required in case of theft!

In principle, skis from our Economy class are robust all-mountain skis that will guarantee you a lot of fun on the slopes. If you attach more importance to the material, we advise choosing the Premium rental class. The ski models in the Premium rental class are of a higher quality and will convince you with their very good material and great design. One more level above this, you will find the Superior class, our high-end skis (not available in all shops). If you are not sure which class to choose, we advise you to trust your gut feeling when reserving online. Our RENTertainers on site will ask you a few questions to find the right ski for you and you can change models within your rental class at any time for free, or change rental classes.

The discount for teenagers up to 14 years old (they only pay 50% of the adult price) is not displayed separately; the price displayed is already 50% of the adult price.

At the beginning of your online reservation, after you have entered the location and date, you will find a small box on the right side: “I have a discount code”. Please click it and enter your code.

INTERSPORT Rent cooperation partners such as accommodation providers in the region, trade partners or large organisations such as ÖBB, ÖAMTC, ADAC, etc... hand out discount codes. Please ask for INTERSPORT Rent discount codes at your accommodation.

At any time! If you ever notice that your boots hurt your feet while on the slopes, please come by our shop again. We will exchange it with another model and won’t let you leave before you feel entirely comfortable in your boots. After all, we want you to have the most fun possible on the slopes.
