Bikerental INTERSPORT Perraudin Sports Mayens-de-Riddes / La Tzoumaz

What a find. I have used franchise/chains across the alps for ski hire in the same way one uses a McDonalds, for the low-effort consistency and reliability of being part of an international chain. By Perraudin was different. Yes, it's intersport so that means a good range of equipment and easy booking online etc. but the service here was a delight. We needed race skis for our son, sorted with a simple email. Then on day 1 we were looked after so kindly and efficiently that I initially felt, 'must have been a good day' but this continued for the 5 days we were there. We were in there daily, twice a day, and the smiles and geniality were constant. They couldn't have been more helpful in a light-touch way and all of the surliness and arrogance I've experience (notably in the French resorts) was completely absent. Of course, the equipment was perfectly good, that goes without saying, but if you have a choice, please use Perraudin, they're a gem.
